NASA CONTRACTS
While repairing composite sailplanes in Mojave
CA, we were contacted by Dale Reed, an engineer for NASA DRYDEN FLIGHT RESEARCH
CENTER to design the structure and build the MINI SNIFFER, this RPV. (Remotely
Piloted Vehicle) was our first NASA contract, leading to a
"LONG LIST" of research and development contracts for NASA Dryden Flight
Research Center.
The most “visible” ones, may have been our involvement with the SPACE SHUTTLE
tile testing efforts.
I loved contracting for NASA. The engineers,
providing the support for the various tasks, were the greatest! It was 'THE GOOD
OLD DAYS" when judgment calls were still made, without the politicians
